“Bank Transfer Day” is a social networking movement that has gone viral.  This is completely consumer driven and not, in any way, affiliated with the Credit Union Movement in general, nor with Changing Seasons Federal Credit Union specifically.  The idea was conceived and started by a 27 year woman in California who was frustrated and tired of outrageous fees being charged by her bank.  As a result, she created the idea of “Bank Transfer Day”, which encourages consumers to transfer their accounts from a big bank to credit unions and other financial institutions.

While we appreciate the support and positive feedback urging consumers to leave their bank and join a credit union, we welcome new members every day and believe any day is a good day to join a credit union.
